How Live Scoreboards Transformed the Valencia Tennis Tour Experience
At myscore.live, we continue exploring how to improve the tournament experience for organizers, referees, players, and families. This time, we tested it during the Valencia Tennis Tour Circuit, one of the most prominent youth circuits, coinciding with its 10th anniversary at the Sporting Club de Tenis de Valencia.
“The experience with myscore.live allowed us to see the value that digitalization can bring to tennis, both for the organization and for the entire community following the tournament.”
During Saturday’s matches, our platform provided live coverage of the Benjamín, Alevín, and Infantil draws, in both female and male categories, allowing people to follow what was happening on court in a simple, real-time way.
For those attending the tournament, being able to follow the score and match flow was already highly valuable, making it easier to understand what was happening on each court and how the day was progressing. Additionally, for family members, coaches, and companions who couldn’t attend the club, it provided live access to the progress of the matches involving participants.
For the organizers and the head referee, this meant significant support thanks to increased information and real-time visibility. It helped them better manage the scheduling of the large number of matches played throughout the day, making the tournament flow smoother and allowing players to be called earlier, ultimately improving how matches unfolded during the day.
This test confirmed something very important for us: live scoring not only improves tournament operations, it also better connects the entire community around it. It’s a major step toward enabling youth tournaments, team competitions, and lower-tier events—those not broadcast on television with tennis’s biggest stars—to be followed live, benefiting both players on court and the wider community that supports them.
